Illustration: Hypatia and the Library of Alexandria

This is a 2 point perspective illustration done in soft pastels on watercolor paper. I will be changing the skin tone of Hypatia to reflect her Greek/Roman heritage as well as pushing the values of the darks darker to create more depth and dimension to the scene.

Update: 4/26/2017 I've darkened the darks and changed the skin tone. Still working on the lips to get them right. Updated picture at bottom of post.
